imi tot promit ca o sa impartasesc impresiile de calatorie si ma tot iau cu altele.
Well, o experenta interesanta a fost cand ne-am dus, eu si Toshiko, la un bar private (owned by a friend of hers), si am facut karaoke cu "Dragostea din tei". Pe care am auzit-o si la radio, pe un post tokyo-ez.
Apropo de japonezi si tehnica lor, primul lucru care mi-a mers la suflet a fost toaleta computerizata (http://www.toto.co.jp/en/products/washlet/w00001/index.htm). Are colacul cald (reglabil), te spala la fund (reglezi temperaturi, presiunea jetului, aim-ul, etc), te usuca. In plus, colacul si capacul au proximity sensor, se ridica cand te apropii (capacul), si se coboara cand pleci (asta rezolva eterna problema a nevestelor, barbatilor, si capacelor)
Tehnologia infliltreaza, de fapt, fiecare aspect al vietii de zi cu zi in Japan, de la toaleta de care vorbesc, la fierbatorul de apa care are vreo opt butoane (sincer sa fiu, nu stiu pentru ce, dar aveam apa fierbinte - pentru ceai mostly - whenever I wanted it), si alte asemenea.  Un covoras, sub masa (un soi de throw-rug de 1.5 m pe 2 m) de care era atasat un dispozitiv cu cablu, bagat in priza - era special facut ca sa incalzeasca covorasul (covorasul in sine fiind special, cu un sistem de conductori in el, banuiesc) - foarte placut la picioare.
O vizita in Akihabara (the Electric City) (http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e3003.html) te aduce la zi cu ultimile tehnologii. Fascinant, mai ales pentru baieti. Un cartier intreg de tarabe (ca in Bucuresti in Europa) magazinase, magazine, giganti comerciali (precum Yodobashi Camera, un magazin de 8 etaje, mare cam cat Complexul Unirea), dedicat in intregime electricelor si electronicelor. Nu am rezistat si mi-am cumparat o camera digitala (nu mai aveam nici un aparat photo), un Panasonic Lumix FX8 (http://www.letsgodigital.org/en/news/articles/story_3213.html), extrem de mic (http://www.quesabesde.com/images/imagenes/panasonic_lumix_dmc-fx8_en_mano_1_custom.jpg) si versatil, cu un ecran imens (http://www.dpreview.com/news/0505/Panasonic/pana_fx8silverback.jpg). Si cam cu $80 mai ieftin decat l-as lua aici.

Pai vezi ma Cris, tot japonezii mai eficienti deci mai isteti.

Unii se cearta de nu stiu cat timp, si in cupluri, si pe forumuri, se fac poll-uri, se face petitii, se lanseaza provocari, se ajunge la paruieli, se lasa cu jigniri, divorturi si traume emotionale, se fac analize psihologice-psihanalitice, se scriu carti, se fac dezbateri - de capacul WC zic.
Si astia, ce fac? Tac si fac! Pai de aia ii iubesc io.
